Harry Potter World

Welcome to the magical Harry Potter World where wizards and witches learn spells and fly on broomsticks! What would a London website be without the mention of Harry Potter and the famous sites and attractions in London where scenes from the movies were shot.

Go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for your step-by-step guide to visit these London sites with an exciting twist thrown in! Don't miss this awesome adventure of a lifetime for you and your whole family!

Harry Potter was created by author J.K. Rowling who was born and grew up in England. This epic tale was first thought of on a train journey from Manchester to London.

The British author had a rush of excitement when she imagined the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and absolutely could not wait to write the story.

It turned into one of the world's most famous and thrilling book and movie series ever created. You learn about defense against the dark arts, quidditch, dragons, giants, hippogriffs, house elves, owls, good overcoming bad, the forbidden forest, invisibility cloaks, flying cars, humungous spiders and much more fantasy in the world of Harry Potter!

Harry Potter is not just for children, but for people of all ages. When reading this story or watching any of the movies, you escape reality and enter into an amazing fantasy world that children (and some adults) only wished they lived in! Harry goes through seven unforgettable years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Everyone in this astonishing Harry Potter World refers to him as the boy who lived, and this makes him famous! Harry is the only person to ever survive the "he who must not be named" curse. This is the reason why he has a scar on his forehead.

Along the way, he makes the most amazing friends! Without Ron and Hermione's help, he would not have defeated all of the bad and evil that happened along the way. Harry's other classmates look up to him and are impressed by his flying and magical skills. He never imagined that he would leave the broom closet under the stairs, and go to a school with so much famous history!

He learns more about his parents, James and Lily Potter and the truth about their demise. Most importantly, he defeats "he who must not be named" in an epic final battle, and ends up married to the girl he fell in love with.

Harry Potter had such an impact that theme parks around the world were opened for everyone to visit. Also, people use words from the books in everyday language. The word "muggle" was taken from the Harry Potter books and put into the Oxford English dictionary in 2003, so it is now a legit word.

If you like the stories as much as I do, you can visit the Harry Potter Theme Park located in the U.K., and re-live the magic of wizards, wands, potions, spells and Gryffindor!

Above all, make this adventure of a lifetime happen, so you can be sure to have cherished memories of all the sites in London, and everything else in Harry Potter World!
